Counseling Philosophy

My primary goal is to build the academic and social competencies of all students regardless of race, status, color creed or orientation.

Mission

Equity, Access & Opportunity underlie my personal mission as a professional school counselor.

I enjoy developing partnerships with educational professionals and collaboratively develop pathways of success for all students, particularly those who are underrepresented due to their cultural and/or personal status.

Through the creation of student centered programs and activities, students will develop a positive collegiate identity and develop the attributes necessary to successfully transition from high school into post-secondary life and engage the world as productive citizens.

Vision

I want all students to realize the tremendous power they have to change the world and make a sustainable difference in society and history.

All students deseerve to have access to rigorous educational content that challenges them to think critically about the world they live in and ponder their status in it.

I want to ensure that my students become intellectually astute and have unlimited access to institutions of higher learning and workforce opportunities.

Students will understand that education in all its forms, is the gateway to economic empowerment and social mobility. Students will love learning and have the motivation to create and live the life they have always dreamed.
